Ever since we opened our doors in August 2019, we’ve been welcoming guests to our all-day dining steakhouse. We like to think it’s the perfect combo for wining and dining; with a destination restaurant and welcoming bar that are fit for any occasion. We specialise in premium steaks. Each one is hand cut by our expert chefs and cooked to perfection, meaning you can enjoy your steak at any size, cooked and served how you like it. And our bartenders are always ready to shake + stir you a cocktail or pour you a glass of wine from our extensive list. Just ask us for a perfect pairing to go with your dish of choice!

Our location

Just five minutes away from Winnersh Triangle train station and with handy transport links to the M4 and beyond, Bar + Block Winnersh is the perfect place to stop off when exploring the Thames Valley. Being so close to Reading means you can head into the city for a spot of shopping at the Oracle Shopping Centre, or just down the road to the Showcase Cinema. Couples and families alike will enjoy a day out at the nearby Dinton Pastures Country Park before joining us in Winnersh for refreshment!

Our team

Our team always go out of their way to put our guests first. We know that it’s our job to make every moment of your experience with us a great one, so we’ll always go above and beyond. Not only that but we butcher and cut all of our meat on the premises – any cut, any size, you’ve got it! Steak is our area of expertise and our passion, and we cook yours to perfection every time.

Chef’s choice

Our Head Chef Brett would personally recommend a 12oz Ribeye steak, cooked medium, with a creamy peppercorn sauce and our beef dripping chips, served with a side of garlic mushrooms. You don’t get better than that!
