Did you know we’re the only steakhouse in London, Sutton? At Bar + Block, we’re famous for our specialty steaks, fresh + tasty sides, and our range of delicious signature cocktails. We’re a bright, modern restaurant with plenty of space and we're ready and waiting to welcome you from business brunches, to quick lunches or relaxed dinners. We also host a variety of special events throughout the year, including live music nights and cocktail masterclasses. Our centre-piece cocktail bar is a highlight, with a variety of spirits, wines and beers. And plenty of cocktails to try, shaken + stirred by our expert bartenders. So whether it’s an after work drink, a celebration or just because; there’s a drink for every occasion. Our booths make the perfect spot to get together with friends - request when booking to avoid disappointment. Steaks are our speciality; you’ll find all of the classic cuts on our menu as well as some unique dishes to try. You can order any size and any cut to suit your heart's desire and we’ll cook it to perfection.

Our location

We’re the only steakhouse in London Sutton, just a 7 minute walk from Sutton train station and close to St Nicholas Shopping Centre and the historical Sutton High Street. Further afield, you’ll find Mayfield Lavender Farm, Honeywood Museum and the Sutton Heritage Mosaic. There’s plenty to explore in the local area around Bar + Block London Sutton steakhouse!

Our team

We’ve had the same brilliant team at Bar + Block London Sutton since 2019. From our front of house team members to our chefs, we’re a fun-loving bunch who love nothing more than making your experience with us the best it can be! We want guests to feel at home at our restaurant, so relax whilst we serve up our premium steaks and perfectly poured cocktails right to you!

Chef’s choice

Our Head Chef Jamie Brooks would recommend the Spiral Cut Fillet. Created by spiral cutting the fillet and marinating in garlic and parsley for 24 hours for tenderness and flavour, the Spiral Cut Fillet is served with beef dripping triple-cooked chunky chips and a flavourful chimichurri sauce.

The team at Bar + Block London Sutton are proud to support a number of causes in the local community, including Sutton Community Farm, Sutton FC, Sutton Age UK and Sutton Giving Community, as well as participating in national fundraising for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.

Chef’s choice home recipe

Our chef’s top tip is to marinate your steaks with garlic, parsley and chilli for a minimum of 12 hours before you start to cook to give a delicious flavour and make your steak even more succulent and tender!
