Get stuck into new flavours with the spring menu at Bar + Block. Fresh in this spring are our new Mediterranean-inspired dishes, like Chicken Souvlaki and Harissa Salmon. Enjoy the warmer days with spring time food like our Chimichurri Mixed Vegetables and Eton Mess Sundae. Of course, we’ll still be serving up our carefully selected steaks and speciality cuts, hand cut to match your appetite and cooked to perfection by our expert steaks. Our lunch + early dinner set menu is perfect for a spring lunch, served Monday to Friday from 11.30am to 5pm, with a range of delicious plates like our classic Steak + Frites, tasty Buttermilk Chicken Burger and Bar & Block House Salad, customised just the way you like it. You can tuck into 2 courses for £12.95 or upgrade to 3 courses for just £2 extra!
Our small plates are made for spring! Mix and match your favourite dishes, like our new Pulled Beef & Houmous Flatbread and Tomato Bruschetta, as well as classics like our Burnt Ends and Jumbo Garlic King Prawns, cooked over charcoal for a unique, smoky flavour. With 3 dishes for £15 and 4 for £20, you can share with the whole table and enjoy spring flavours at Bar + Block.
Great ingredients speak for themselves, so we just pair our tender and succulent jumbo tiger prawns with lots of garlic butter and serve them with a stone-baked flatbread and a wedge of lemon for you to enjoy.
Add a touch of luxury to your table with our juicy Canadian king scallops, cooked over charcoal with plenty of garlic butter. Served in a scallop shell with samphire and a hint of lemon. Perfection!
A true taste of the season, our Tomato Bruschetta is made with freshly cut cherry tomatoes, red onion and fragrant basil, piled on a garlic-rubbed, stone-baked flatbread.
Cooked over charcoal for a unique, smoky flavour, our marinated chicken souvlaki is served with Greek salad, stone-baked flatbread, houmous and our homemade tzatziki to give you all the authentic flavours of the Mediterranean.
Combining harissa and red pepper marinated salmon fillet with the flavours of charcoal-grilled vegetables for a fresh taste this spring. Served with mixed grains and our homemade tzatziki.
A classic dessert, done the Bar + Block way! Our homemade boozy tiramisu is layered with coffee and brandy-soaked sponge, and then topped with a light mascarpone cream.
Our Sunday Roast sharers are also perfect for a spring roast dinner, available from 12pm every Sunday. With succulent Roast Beef or Roast Chicken, you can ask for a sharer for 2 or even 3 people, piled high with all the trimmings like our fluffy Yorkies, beef dripping roasties, honey-glazed parsnips, roasted carrots, Cheddar-topped cauliflower cheese, seasonal greens and, of course, our rich red wine gravy. Sundays are for sharing this spring!
